Slacker Foodie Blog

slacker-foodie-home

I love working with WordPress. I also love blogging with WordPress, and wanted a “just-for-fun” place to do it, so I created the Slacker Foodie blog. Aimed at people who love fresh, healthy, “real” food and interesting flavors – but not necessarily spending hours in the kitchen – Slacker Foodie is where I share the tips, recipes and recommendations I’ve developed as I search out simpler, better ways of preparing food. Cox Enterprises 2010 Annual Report

cox-2010-1-home

Garnering two awards from IABC/Atlanta for work on Cox Enterprises’ 2009 annual might have played a part in being invited back with my Prescott Alexander colleagues to work on the company’s 2010 annual. Or it might’ve just been that our teams enjoyed working together and we knew what made them tick. Continue reading

White Oak Realty Group Web Site

White Oak Real Estate Group - Home Page

When White Oak Realty Group Owner and Broker-in-Charge Susie deVille Schiffli contacted me for help finishing her web site, she’d already purchased and installed the AgentPress theme for WordPress, but was struggling to make it look and work to create the site she envisioned. The great thing about themes is that the bulk of the design and development work has already been done. The downside of themes is that the bulk of the design and development decisions have already been made. Continue reading

Goodrich Corporation 2010 Annual Report

Goodrich Corp. 2010 Annual Report - Home Page

I’ve worked with the Goodrich team since 1998, before they were part of the Goodrich family. I’ve handled development of the HTML versions of most of their annual reports, first as part of the team at see see eye and now with Prescott Alexander. Continue reading

iEnforce Fitness iPhone App Promotional Site

iEnforce Fitness Home Page

With a new personal training iPhone app in development, Enforce Fitness needed a web site to promote the app right away, plus a platform that could expand to encompass post-release needs such as support. Enforce Fitness’s “solopreneur” owner had to be able to manage the site himself – a challenge given a full slate of real-life clients. Continue reading

Women Go Political Web Site

Women Go Political - Home Page - "Impact" Tab

The ladies of WomenGoPolitical.com had a vision: break down politics to one issue at a time and cover it in the most concise, straightforward manner possible so that busy women could get their arms around issues. It was a timely idea, but in its initial incarnation the site was difficult to maintain and limited in its flexibility to adapt to WGP’s plans for growth. Enter WordPress, and the simpler web! Georgia Natural Gas Web Site

Georgia Natural Gas Home Page

This 2007 – 2008 site was the second redesign I worked on for Georgia Natural Gas (GNG) as part of the see see eye team. With the initial redesign, I helped GNG completely reorganize the site so that customers and prospects using the site could easily and more intuitively find the information they needed. I also worked with GNG’s web hosting and maintenance firm as well as the firms that handled the customer service and billing data that back portions of the site. Continue reading

Ott Gun Works Web Site

Ott Gun Works Home Page

When Ott Gun Works opened its doors in January, 2010, the immediate need was to get the word out about the gunsmith service as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. We designed, developed and wrote the copy for the site in less than a week from start to launch. Continue reading

Cox Enterprises 2009 Annual Report

Cox Enterprises 2009 Annual - Narrative Story Intro Page

This microsite for Cox Enterprises took the lead role in reporting the company’s financial and corporate achievements and upcoming plans. The site, designed by Prescott-Alexander colleague Stephen Crary, was recognized by IABC Atlanta with a Golden Flame Award in the Website/Design category. Continue reading

Donovan for Senate Web Site

Donovan for Senate Home Page

Georgia’s 2010 Libertarian candidate for U.S. Senate, Chuck Donovan, needed a web site that would compare favorably to his major-party opponents. Trouble was, his opponents had campaign war chests ranging from more than $100k to over $8 million, plus paid staff to keep their sites updated. Continue reading
